Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India have commenced dispatches of their newly launched motorcycle the CB 300F. The two wheeler manufacturer had earlier launched the bike in the market for Rs 2.25 lakhs (ex showroom).
The new CB300F has been dispatched from the company’s 4th factory at Vithalapur in Gujarat. The bike is being manufactured on a specially designed assembly line for midsize motorcycles, which is expected to cater to domestic and export demand.
Bringing in yet another powerful and aggressive addition to Honda’s fun motorcycle line-up, CB300F is the 4th entrant into the 300cc-500cc segment, a segment that’s only getting more fierce and competitive.
Power for Honda’s latest motorcycle comes from an oil cooled 293cc engine. Customers can choose between two trims – Deluxe and Deluxe Pro & three paint schemes – Mat Axis Grey metallic, Mat marvel blue metallic and Sports Red.
The roll out of the newly launched motorcycle was celebrated by conducting a special line off ceremony in the august presence of Mr. Atsushi Ogata - Managing Director, President & CEO (HMSI) along with Mr. Takahiro Honda - Chief Production Officer & Director (HMSI), Mr. Nuveen Awal - Director, Production (HMSI), Mr. Manish Dua – Operating Officer (Vithalapur Plant), Mr. Akira Toyama, Executive Vice-President (Vithalapur Plant).
