News has been looming in the air about a new partner being appointed for Mahindra automotive in Goa. However these rumours have now been put to an end with Naik Motors taking over dealership operations of Mahindra automotive in Goa.
The news came to light when Shaikh Muktar Group who was the only dealer partners in Goa shut down its dealership operations. Shaik Muktar Group or SMG as best known had its main dealership at Verna along with branches at Sanvordem, Porvorim and Fatorda.
The reason for such a move by SMG is however unknown and would best be understood by the company itself. Nevertheless Naik Motors has taken over the dealership operations in Goa from now on and will take care of after sales and service as well.
Mahindra and Mahindra Automotive has a considerably popular model such as the Scorpio, Bolero, Thar, Marazzo, KUV 1OO, XUV 3OO and XUV 5OO in its line-up. However several of its cars like the Scorpio, Thar, XUV 5OO, TUV 3OO and even the Bolero are expected to either receive model updates or a generation change over the course of this fiscal year.
