Triumph has launched a new 2020 version of its middleweight sports naked motorcycle the Street Tripple RS. Prices for the new motorcycle start at Rs 11.13 lakhs (ex showroom prices),
The 2020 version of the Triumph Street Tripple RS packs in a more aggressive design language around the bodywork and headlights. Talking of which there’s now an all new LED twin headlight with daytime running light and on offer. It also gets a redesigned TFT instrument cluster that displays all essential information in better graphics and colours.
The instrument cluster also comes with a host of connectivity options like bluetooth, Go Pro and so on. The Go Pro controls however come in as an accessory fit bluetooth control software. The bike rides on 120/70 rubber at front with 17-inch 5 spoke alloy at front and 180/55 rubber at rear cast in 17-inch 5 spoke alloy wheel.
Powering the motorcycle is a 3-cylinder liquid cooled 765cc engine that churns out 121.36 bhp and 79Nm of torque. The engine still continues to be mated to a 6-speed transmission with Triumph assist and comes with 5 different ridding modes.
Suspension duties are handled by 41mm Showa upside down fork at front and STX40 fully adjustable Ohlins’ fork at the rear. Braking power is provided by Brembo 4 piston 310 mm floating disc at front and Brembo single piston 220 mm disc at the rear.
