2018 BMW X3 gains a petrol engine

BMW has introduced a new petrol engine on the new generation X3 SUV in India priced at Rs 56.90 Lakhs (Ex showroom).The New BMW X3 Petrol XDrive Luxury Line and will be assembled at the Bavarian car makers Chennai plant.

Powering the new X3 XDrive Petrol is a four cylinder twin turbo motor than produces 250 bhp and 350nm torque. The engine is coupled to an 8-speed Steptronic gearbox with paddle shifters and is capable of propelling the SUV from 0-100 kmph in 6.3 seconds.

Features on board the new X3 XDrive petrol are Adaptive LED headlights, BMW display Key with LCD display and touch control button, LED fog lights, Electrically foldable exterior mirrors with automatic anti – dazzle function, automatic tailgate function, 19 inch double spoke light alloy wheels, Pananorma glass roof, 3-zone Automatic air conditioning with digital display, 12.3 inch multifunction instrument cluster with individual character design for drive modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport.

The XDrive intelligent four wheel drive gets variable torque distribution with hill descent and hill assist. The XDrive system is compact and responds quickly and distributes power between the front and rear axle to suit driving conditions and surface.

BMW is offering the new X3 XDrive in 4 exterior metallic colours namely Sapphire black, Phytonic blue, Mineral white and Brilliant effect Sophisto grey.
