Honda Civic, an executive sedan that blew the minds of the Indian consumers with its sporty styling and large dimensions is all set to return to India next year.

Prior the launch, the new Honda Civic has started testing on Indian roads and was spied testing for the first time on Indian roads by Indian Autos Blog. The car spotted here is the updated model that sports new front and rear bumpers along with refreshed headlights and taillights, while the rest of the design remains unchanged save for new alloy wheels.

On the inside, the new Civic‘s interior should remain more or the less the same as the interior model accept for the addition of a larger touchscreen system and better quality materials.

Mechanically no details are out yet, but expect the new Civic to be powered by 1.8 litre petrol and 1.6 litre diesel engines under the hood. Transmission options however will include a 5-speed manual for both engine options, with automatic being limited to the petrol powered version only.

Honda is expected to launch the Civic in India by Febuary 2019 and when it does get here expect the Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Corolla and Skoda Octavia to face strong competition.
