Tata Motors has launched the new Tiago facelift at a price tag of Rs 5.20 lakhs (ex showroom prices). The new Tata Tiago has also started arriving at showrooms in Goa post the launch.
Exterior changes on the 2020 Tiago include an updated front end that makes it appear more Altroz like in comparison. It gets a sharper looking headlight that blends into the new honeycomb pattern grille, while the new bumper gets a sportier looking layout and air dam as well. The side profile stays exactly the same as before, while the rear gets repositioned Tiago badging to the centre and restyled bumper with the registration plate holder moved lower down as well.
The interior makes use of a new black and grey colour scheme along with new gloss black with bright yellow paint for the side A/C vents. Also new is automatic climate control and new seat fabric. The rest of the cabin is unchanged from before and you still get the 7-inch touchscreen infortainment system with on offer.
Powering the 2020 Tiago is currently powered by a 1.2 litre petrol motor that produces 86PS and 114 Nm of torque and comes mated to 5– speed manual/AMT transmission.
Tata will also be adding several new colour options to the Tiago line-up. A new colour known as Victory yellow will replace the Canyon Orange on offer currently, while the rest of the colours includes Flame red, Victory grey, Pure silver, Tectonic blue and Pearlescent white.
The 2020 Tata Tiago rivals the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Waganor and Datsun GO.
