Aprilla has introduced the new 2020 SR150 scooter in the Indian market. Prices for the 2020 spec SR160 start at Rs 85,431 (ex showroom prices), while the Vespa range starts at Rs 91,492 (ex showroom prices).
For 2020, however the SR150 gets rebadged to SR160 however there are no other changes on the scooter and it continues to offer the same features and styling as before. The updated scooter is currently on display at KN Mototech at Margao, while test rides should be available soon enough.
Meanwhile Piaggio has also introduced the same kind of update on its Vespa range of scooters. The Vespa SXL 160 also gets a BS6 engine as the only update, while the rest of the scooters design and features are exactly the same as before.
As the name suggest the motor is now a 160cc single cylinder unit that puts out 10.8bhp and 11.6 kgm of torque and comes mated to an automatic transmission. This engine is available on both the Vespa SXL and SR160 BS6.
