Audi India has launched the Q5 SUV with a petrol engine priced at Rs Lakhs 55.27 Lakhs (Ex showroom). The engine is a 2.0 litre TFSI motor which churns out 252hp and 370Nm torque. It comes mated to a 7 S-tronic transmission and is capable of doing 0-100kmph in 6.3 seconds.
Design wise the Q5 petrol looks identical to the diesel powered version and its design draws inspiration from a single frame grille with large intakes, LED headlights with dynamic turn indicator lights at the rear, Pananormic sunroof and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The interior also shares the same elegant design with the diesel Q5 and offers the same premium levels of comfort. The electrically adjustable front seats come with driver side memory function and 4 way lumbar support.
Features on board the Q5 petrol are 8.3-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 3-zone deluxe automatic climate control, wireless charging for Smartphone’s and frameless interior mirror with auto dimming function.
Audi has packed the Q5 petrol with safety tech such as 8-airbags, Anti-lock braking system, Electronic brake distribution, Electronic stabilisation control, Audi park system plus with rear view camera, tyre pressure monitoring system and auto hold function with hill descent control.
Audi’s new Q5 petrol rivals the Lexus NX 300 hybrid, Mercedes Benz GLC and the newly introduced BMW X3.
