Audi unveils stylish new second generation Q3 Internationally

Audi has revealed the new generation Q3 in International markets. The new Q3 features a new design language and is based on the new MQB platform which makes it 97 percent longer and 25mm wider.

One look at the new Q3 and is enough to realise how much the design has improved over the earlier car. The face bears a lot of resemblance to the larger Q8 with a larger chrome front grille, slimmer matrix led headlamps and sportier front bumper with huge air inlet. Where the front is dramatic and sporty the rear gets new LED taillamps with clusters that alike to the front ones.

The dramatic design language carrying on to the interior as well, the dashboard sports a larger 8.8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Smartphone connectivity, while the instrument cluster will get different sizes depending on the variants. Audi is also offering a Bang and Olfusen audio system with 15 speakers and virtual 3D surround sound.

The new 2019 Audi Q3 will also get a host of driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise assist, park assist and 360 degree cameras. Audi’s new Q3 will also get different wheel sizes ranging from 17-inchers to 20-inchers while riding on 255/40 section tyres.

Powering the new Q3 are a range of engines that include 150hp 35TFSI 1.5 litre turbo petrol and 2.0 litre turbo petrol motor that will be offered in two power outputs 190bhp 40TFSI and 230bhp 45 TFSI. The diesel motor also be offered in two states on tune, a 190hp 40TDi and 150bhp 30TDi.

The new Q3 will rival the Mercedes Benz GLA, Volvo XC40 and BMW X1 when it finds its way into the Indian market somewhere in 2019.
