Stung by its massive success in the Indian market, Bajaj Auto has now introduced the 2019 Dominar 400. Prices for the updated motorcycle start at Rs 1.74 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi).
New on the 2019 Dominar is an improved version of the 373cc liquid cooled engine that has been tuned to produce more power and torque. It now makes 39 bhp and 35 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6–speed transmission and achieves a 0-100kmph in 7.1 seconds time lap.
Speaking about visual tweaks, Bajaj has updated the Dominar with a new LED headlamp with reprofiled taillamps and a redesigned double barrel exhaust for a sportier look. It also gets a new LCD instrument cluster which is now a split screen system and reads out essential information such as gear position, trip information, clock and fuel gauge as well.
Other mechanical changes done to the bike include a new upside down forks at the front. Braking duties are now handled by twin channel ABS and a 320mm front and a 230mm disc brake at the rear.
Bajaj has also added two new colours to the Dominar line-up which include Aurora Green and Vine Black.
