Benelli returns to Goa with sales outlet, launches TRK 502x in Goa

Benelli, one of the oldest Italian motorcycle manufacturers that once ruled the streets of Goa has returned once again to Goan shores. The Italian bike manufacturer is now owned by Anthony Noronha, a local businessman in Goa.

Located along the same line where several other automobile brands have their presence. The Benelli outlet has been up on the ground floor of Raj Residency in Taleigao. The showroom can display around four to five bikes at a time and will cater to new and existing customers from all over Goa. However the service centre is located in Porvorim.

On the sidelines of the showroom inaugural, Benelli also launched the TRK 502x in Goa. The adventure based motorcycle is priced at Rs 5 lakhs for the on-road version and Rs 5.40 lakhs for the off-road version. Powering the motorcycle 499.6cc liquid cooled two cylinder engines that churn out 47.6ps and 45 Nm of torque. The engine on the other side comes mated to a six speed transmission.

Benelli’s model range in India includes the 302 in the Sport segment, along with TNT 600i and TNT 300 and the freshly launched TRK 502 and 502x in the adventure segment.

Having parted ways with its previous owner the DSK group who ran into financial troubles, Benelli had to shut down operations across India and begin fresh again. However this time around the brand has tied up with Hyderabad based Mahavir group who have intern formed a sub venture Adishwar Auto Ride India to cater to the operations.
