BMW launches 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport in India


BMW has launched a new variant to the 3 Series Gran Turismo line-up priced at Rs Lakhs 46.60 Lakhs (Ex showroom) which is cheaper by 2.6 Lakhs over the Luxury variant priced at Rs 49.50 Lakhs (Ex showroom) and 4.6 Lakhs cheaper than the top end M Sport variant priced at Rs 51,20 Lakhs  ( Ex showroom).

Design wise the 3GT sports black slats for the kidney grille and a tweaked bumper along with a chrome tipped exhaust pipes. Inside the interior gets a leather lined wood trim along with red contrast stitching for the steering wheel and seats. The 3GT Sport also gets ‘’ BMW Sport’’ door sills and ambient lighting customisable to orange and white

Under the hood is a 2.0 litre four cylinder diesel engine which is carried on unchanged from the standard variant and puts out 190bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The motor is coupled to an 8-speed Steptronic gearbox and can propel the car from standstill to 100kmph in 7.7 seconds.

Features standard on the 3GT Sport include active rear spoiler, frameless doors, automatic tailgate, 2-zone automatic climate control with rear a/c vents, electric seat adjustment for driver and passenger, Pananorma glass roof and 18-inch double spoke light alloy wheels.

BMW is offering the 3GT Sport in three exterior colours namely Alpine White, Black Sapphire metallic and imperial blue brilliant effect.
