Bavaria Motors the dealer partners for BMW in Goa have launched the new fourth generation BMW X5 priced at Rs 72.90 Lakhs (ex showroom prices). The new X5 is built on the CLAR platform and is now taller, longer and wider than the model it replaces.

Speaking about the design, the new X5 retains the familiar silhouette and basic shape but follows the next generation styling. The face gets an imposing and massive Kidney grille with large LED laser headlights and daytime running lights, while the bumper has grown in size too and houses bigger air inlets and fog lights along with a slim air dam. The side profile has cleaner look with minimalistic styling cues present on the car, it does however get interesting waistline that flows in an almost S-curve into the rear. At the rear the X5 gets a roof spoiler, full LED taillights and a two part electric tailgate that opens in two different types. The 2019 BMW X5 rides on 20-inch light alloy wheels as standard.

The interior sports a familiar layout with top notch materials and an innovative cockpit design. However the fourth generation BMW X5 is now a strict five seater and doesn’t get the third row of seats at the back. The cabin gets a full black treatment with chrome inserts and leather wrapped seats, while the centre console receives d a crystal like gearlever and i-drive controller lending a touch of premiumness to the already well finished cabin. The X5 also gets 60:40 split seats which helps increase boot space from 650 to 1,870 litres.

On the features front, the new X5 comes with 12.3 -inch floating instrument screen with gesture control and voice command. Digital instrument console, 16 speakers Harman Kardon surround system, BMW head’s up display, four zone climate control, wireless charging, Ambiente lighting, Pananormic sunroof and rear passenger screen are also part of the package.
