Datsun updates GO and GO+ with Vehicle Dynamic Control

Datsun has launched new updated GO and GO+ with Vehicle Dynamic Control and a new Vivid Blue paint scheme. Prices however are expected to remain unchanged with the GO starting at Rs 3,32,078 lakhs and the GO+ asking for Rs 3,86,588 Lakhs ( ex showroom prices).

According to Datsun Vehicle Dynamic Control System monitors the steering position and acceleration via on board sensors to provide electronic stability control. Responding to the car oversteering and understeering, the system facilitates a safer driving experience, superior drivability and enhanced power.

Speaking about the new safety feature Hardeep Singh Brar, Director Sales and Commercial, Nissan India said, “Datsun is committed to transform customer experience with new and innovative products. Underscoring our focus on progressive mobility backed by safety, technology, style and convenience, the New Datsun GO and GO+ now come with VDC so that the Datsun owner can drive with confidence.” 

Datsun GO and GO+ are also equipeied with anti-lock brake distribution, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist and traction control system. The 7-inch touchscreen infortainment system comes with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice recognition among other standard in car-music features.

Power for the GO and GO+ comes from the same 1.2 litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68 PS and 104 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by 5-speed manual gearbox and the engine delivers 19.83kmpl.

The Datsun GO takes on the Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki Alto, while the GO+ will soon face fresh competition from the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Waganor MPV and Renault Triber.
