Exclusive..! MG Goa dealership to be located in Taleigao

MG showroom gearing up for month end inaugural


Morris Garages as they are best known is gearing up to mark its debut in Goan soil soon. The brand had disclosed plans to set up 45 showrooms in the first phase, one of which will be in Goa.

However MG has claimed to have received over 2000 applications for setting up dealerships from pan India. The showroom in Goa will be owned by Group Priority who also has Skoda, Renault and Honda two wheelers in their automotive field of business.

The MG Goa dealership will be independently located along the Taleigao bypass in Panjim Goa and not next to the existing Skoda and Renault that are located next to each other, while the service centre will be located along the Kadamba plateau. A reliable source has also informed us that if everything goes well on track the dealership could be innurgauted by May end.

The first model set to make it to MG showroom floors will be the Hector, followed by an all electric SUV model that will make its debut at a later stage. Production for the British automakers models will come from General Motors Halol plant where production capacity is capped at 30,000 units but can be expanded to 2 lakh units as when the demand rises.
