Maruti Suzuki’s Baleno RS facelifted has finally arrived in Goa. The new 2019 version is priced at Rs 8.76 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi)
The 2019 Baleno RS sports cosmetic changes which are are purely cosmetic in nature. It however gets a redesigned honeycomb grille, wider air dam and new fog lamp housings along with new precision cut alloys. The rest of the design though remains unchanged.
The interior doesn’t get any major changes and continues with the same full black treatment. However Maruti Suzuki’s new Smartplay Studio infortainment system makes its debut in the RS as well. On the features front, the Baleno RS gets electrically operated wing mirrors, LED daytime running lights with daytime running lights, remote keyless entry, auto-up power windows along with front and rear adjustable headrest.
Under the hood, the facelifted Baleno RS continues to draw power from the same 1.0 litre turbocharged three cylinder petrol motor. The motor produces 100 bhp and 150 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and no there’s no automatic available. Speaking on the safety side it gets front and rear disc brake, ABS with EBD and dual airbags
