The Ford Ecosport once a popular model has been threatened by a whole bunch of new entrants in the segment. As such it has turned out to be the least selling model in the segment.
However the American car manufacturer is looking at turning things around by introducing the Thunder by next month. The model has been spied online at various Ford dealerships across the country. Whats unclear though is whether the Thunder edition will be a new a variant or a special edition all together.
The Ford Thunder receives a white paint scheme with black stickering on the bonnet and the side along with a Thunder at the rear. It also gets a blacked out roof and wing mirrors and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The interior gets beige and black finish which lends an airy feel to the cabin. Since the Thunder edition is based on the top end Titanium trim features such as daytime running lights, push button start/stop, floating touchscreen infortainment system, automatic climate control, front armrest with storage and steering mounted controls are visible from the spy pic.
Powering the car however is the same 1.5 litre petrol and diesel mated to a manual gearbox. On the flipside the automatic gearbox isn’t on offer with the Thunder edition.
Expect Ford to launch the Thunder either by month end or early June 2019.
