Ford has finally launched the facelifted 2019 Figo priced at Rs 5.15 Lakhs (ex showroom). The new Figo is available in three trims Ambiente, Titanium and Blu.
The 2019 Figo facelift has been designed with 1,200 parts and the latest iteration gets most of its design cues from the Aspire sedan. It sports a new look upfront with a new bonnet, front grille and bumpers at front and rear. It also gets reprofiled headlamps with black inserts and new alloy wheels.
On the inside, the new Figo now comes updated with a charcoal black interior and a. 7-inch touchscreen infotainment. The system now comes with an in-built navigation system and a reverse parking camera, while the rest of the cabin remains unchanged.
Interestingly the top of the line Blu trim gets cellular grille, black roof and blue themed interiors. It also gets adjustable headrests and a segment first six airbags. Under the hood of the Figo Blu lies a brand new 1.5 litre Dragon series petrol engine that churns out 123bhp and 150 Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox and delivers a claimed economy figure of 16.3 kmpl.

The lower Ambiente and Titanium trims of the Figo are powered by the same 1.2 litre Ti-vct petrol and 1.5 litre TDCI diesel engines. The 1.2 litre petrol produces 96ps and 120 Nm of torque and a 1.5 litre churns out 100 ps and 215 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled for both the engines include the same 5-speed gearbox as earlier.
New in terms of safety kit to the Figo facelift include ESP, traction control and hill assist. Ford has also made ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminders and a speed alert system standard to help it confirm to the recently kicked in safety regulations.
