Cacoulo Ford the dealer partners for Ford cars in Goa has launched the Ecosport Thunder edition in Goa. Ford has also reshuffled the Titanium and Titanium+ trims of the standard Ecosport in favour of a more attractive price tag by deleting some interesting features.
Visually the Ecosport Thunder edition can be had only in the white paint scheme along with black decal on the bonnet, black stickering on the sides and a Thunder badge at the rear. Also part of the Thunder package is glossy black treatment for the front grille, fog lamp surrounds, headlamp bezel and spare wheel cover. The Ecosport Thunder edition rides on well designed full black R16 alloy wheels.
The interior on the other hand gets black and sports orange layout thus lending a fresh and rich look while the rest of the cabin is unchanged. In terms of features there’s a 9-inch touchscreen infortainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electric sunroof, automatic HID headlamps, power folding wing mirrors, electro-chromic mirror, push button start and rain sensing wipers.
Powering the SUV however is the same 123hp 1.5 litre petrol and 100hp 1.5 litre diesel. Transmission options however are limited to a 5-speed manual only as there is no automatic on offer. The petrol returns 17kmpl and the diesel delivers 23kmpl of fuel economy. Speaking about its safety the Ecosport Thunder edition gets six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system and more.
The Ford Ecosport Thunder Edition rivals the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3OO.
