Ford has launched the new Ecosport Titanium+ S in Goa. The new Ecosport Titanium S gets the Ecoboost engine and will sit on top of the current Ecosport line-up.
The Ecosport Titanium+ S gets new dual tone exterior finish along with a new Canyon Ridge colour. The headlamps, fog lamps and grille get black inserts for a sportier look, while the Premium smoke 17-inch alloy wheels, HID headlamps and a sunroof are also part of the package.
On the inside there are dual tone bits all over the cabin which include the centre console, doors and seat upholstery. The Ecosport Titanium+ S also gets a premium chrome ringed instrument cluster and a tyre pressure monitor for added functionality.
The biggest change on the Ecosport Titanium+ S is under the hood which comes powered by a 1.0 litre Ecoboost engine which makes 125 bhp and 170 nm torque. While a brand new 6-speed manual gearbox takes care of the transmission duties. The new Ecoboost returns 18.1 kmpl, while adding to the flavour of the sportier driving one would expect from a car with the S badging on the boot, Ford has stiffed the suspension setup and added a more agile steering wheel. The new Ford Ecosport Titanium+ S edition is also available in a 1.5 litre diesel which produces 100 PS and 73.8 KW of power. The engine comes mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox and delivers a claimed economy figure of 23.0 kmpl.
