The new 2018 Activa-i now gets a multi function key slot with a switch to open the luggage section. The new addition will be a welcome addition to the scooter considering the earlier key slot to open the boot was oddly placed.
Honda has also added a dual tone instrument cluster, body coloured mirrors, metallic exhaust cover and front hook Furthermore the company has also introduced five new dual-tone colours like Matt Axis Grey metallic, Lush Magenta metallic, Imperial red metallic, Candy Jazz Blue and Purple Orchid metallic.
Mechanically the Activa-i continues to be powered by the same 109cc air cooled single cylinder engine which produces 8hp and 9Nm of torque. The engine comes coupled to a v-matic transmission and has a top speed of 83kmph.
The scooter runs on 90/100-10 section tubeless tyres on front and rear. Braking is handled by 130mm drum at front and rear drum units with combined braking system as standard.
The Honda Activa-i rivals the Yamaha Ray ZR, Hero Pleasure, Suzuki Lets and TVS Scooty Zest.
