Priority Automobiles, one of the several dealer partners for Honda in Goa have launched the new Activa 6G in Goa. Priced at Rs the scooter comes with a BS6 spec engine along with cosmetic updates to keep it fresh.
New in terms of appearance on the 2020 Activa 6G includes minor styling tweaks to the front apron, a bigger 12 inch front wheel and 6G badging. Also worth mentioning is the addition of a new externally placed fuel filler cap which can be accessed from the multi-function key device itself and a pass light switch.
Powering the humble Activa is 109.51cc motor that produces 7.79hp and 8.79 Nm of torque and however comes mated to an automatic transmission. Honda’s now popular silent start system has trickled down to the smaller in capacity Activa brand and has made an appearance on the 6G Activa as well.
The Japanese automaker has also added a new telescopic fork at the front while at the rear continues with the same 3-step adjustable hydraulic unit. Braking boost is provided by 130mm drum at the front and rear.
