Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India seem to be on a roll with back to back launches of updated scooters for the Indian market and the latest product to feature an update is the Aviator. The updated Aviator has been launched in three variants standard, alloy drum and alloy disc and Alloy and is priced at Rs 55,157 (Ex showroom)
The 2018 Aviator sports a LED headlamp with day time running lamps, retractable front and rear hooks, four in one ignition key slot with separate luggage switch, metal muffler and LED position taillamp. It also sports a blue backlight instrument cluster for better visibility at night.
Mechanically the Aviator continues to be powered by the same 109cc engine that produces 8hp and 9Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a V-matic transmission and has a top speed of 82 kmph. Built on an Underbone frame, the 2018 Aviator gets telescopic front and monoshock suspension at the rear, while braking duty is handled by an optional 190mm disc at front and 130mm drum at the rear with combined braking system as standard.
Honda is also offering a new colour Pearl Spartan Red which will be sold alongside the other paint schemes like Pearl Igneous black, Pearl amazing white and Matte Selene silver metallic.
