Honda motorcycles and scooters India has launched a new Dio Deluxe variant to the Dio line-up priced at Rs 53,292(Ex showroom)
The new Dio Deluxe gains a LED headlight upfront, a four in one ignition console with separate switch to open the boot, digital instrument cluster with eco light and service due indicator and gold finished rims. An optional mobile charger is finally available on the Dio but as an optional extra.
Honda has added new colours to the 2018 Dio line-up which include Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, Pearl Ingenious Black and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
Power for the 2018 Dio is carried on unchanged and the Scooter continues to draw power from air-cooled 110cc motor, the engine makes 7.8bhp and 8.9Nm torque. Transmission duties are handled by a V-matic gearbox and a claimed top speed of 83 kmph. Honda’s 2018 Dio gets its braking power from a 130cc drum brake for both front and rear with a combined braking system (CBS).
The Honda Dio Deluxe rivals the Yamaha RayZR, Hero Maestro Egde, TVS Wego and Suzuki Lets.
