Honda has introduced a new special edition variant of the WR-V called the WR-V Edge edition which costs Rs 20,000 more over the standard model.
In addition to what the mid-spec S variant has to offer, the WR-V Edge edition gets new five spoke 16-inch alloy wheels and Edge edition badges. On the inside it gets a reverse parking camera with display on the inner rear view mirrors and parking sensors. Further adding to the convenience, Honda has thrown in a Honda Connected device with 1 month free subscription to the Honda Connect app.
The Honda Connect device displays crucial information by connecting to the users phone through the app and gives out information such as Impact Alert, vehicle health monitoring, trip analysis and it also has a locate my car function as well.
Powering the WR-V is 1.2 litre I-VTEC petrol which produces 90ps power and 110nm torque, the engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, while economy figures stand at 17.5 kmpl. The 1.5 litre diesel on the other hand churns out 100 ps and 200nm torque mated to a 6 speed transmission and returns 25.5 kmpl.
Launched in 2017, the Honda WR-V has been the most successful product for Honda with well over 50,000+ units sold all over India.
