Hyundai has started deliveries of the Verna Anniversary edition in Goa. A polar white Verna was spotted being readied for delivery at a dealership and we decided to take a closer look at what’s changed.
Based on the top SX (0) trim the Verna Anniversary edition sports front and rear skid plates, rear bootlid spoiler and an Anniversary edition logo. Since the Verna pictured here is dressed in Polar white it misses out on black wing mirrors and shark fin antenna that is available in the Marina Blue colour.
On the inside it gets an all black interior with blue contrast stitching for the seats, steering wheel cover and gearknob. Additionally the Verna also gets blue inserts for the A/C vents and wireless charging docks for smartphones.
Powering the sedan is the same 121bhp 1.6 litre diesel producing 26.5 kgm of torque and 126bhp 1.6 litre petrol putting out 15.4 kgm of torque. Transmission options include 6-speed manual and automatic for petrol, while the diesel gets only a Manual gearbox.
