Hyundai has unveiled the new generation Tucson in the international markets, the new Tucson is now in its fourth generation and has been revealed in images released by the automaker.
The new generation Tucson’s design that’s inspired from the Vision T concept, with radical sporty looks and kinetic jewel surfaces. It gets a parametric front grille with vertically positioned daytime running lights integrated into the grille. There’s also a sporty bumper with actual headlights mounted lower down and a large skid plate. Other bits include prominent lines on the bonnet, flared wheel arches housing large alloy wheels, rising beltline along the side and attractive looking LED taillights with a light bar connecting either end.
On the inside the new generation Tucson gets an all new layout with a minimalistic look and a dual tone colour palette. A large touchscreen takes centre stage and drops down in an almost waterfall like effect. Interestingly the touchscreen is also carried on to the climate control as well.
Also seen in the images released are touch controls on the console between the front seats, it looks to be touch enabled and controls that could have shortcut functions to the infotainment system. The gear selector however looks to be touch enabled too. Another bit we wouldn’t forget is the full digital instrument cluster.
Engine details on the next gen Tucson however haven’t been revealed yet, but the regular petrol and diesel options can be safely expected. Stay tuned for more details here.
