Jeep launches Compass Trailhawk at Rs 26.80 lakhs

Jeep has finally and after much much delay launched the Compass Trailhawk in the market priced at Rs 26.8 lakhs (ex showroom prices). The Trailhawk is the hardcore variant of the successful Compass SUV aimed at off-roading enthusiasts.

The Compass Trailhawk receives many cosmetic changes on its exterior to help differentiate it from the regular standard Compass. These include a gunmetal treatment for the wing mirrors, front grille, window line and fog lamp surround. It also signifies the Trailhawk heritage with a Trailrated badge on the side fender and a Trailhawk badge at the rear boot-lid.

The Trailhawk rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shed in all-terrain Falken Wildpeak HT 225-section tyres. Jeep has also altered the bumpers in favour of better approach, break angle and departure angles that sum up at 26.5 for the approach, 21.2 break angle and 31.6 for the departure.

The cabin has also been updated with a sportier looking full black treatment with red highlights for the speaker pockets, gearbox console along with contrast stitching and Trailhawk logo. Speaking about the features buyers get the same lengthy list from the Limited Plus save for the powered seats along with auto headlights and wipers.

Powering the SUV is a BS6 compliant 2.0 litre multijet 2 turbo diesel motor that produces 170hp and 350 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 9-speed ZF sourced automatic gearbox.
