Kadamba Transport Corporation has launched a new Volvo A/C Sleeper bus on Mumbai Goa route. The new 2×1 A/C Sleeper bus has been introduced to meet increasing demand for sleeper busses on interstate travel routes.
The bus will travel from Goa to Dhobitalao (Mumbai) via Kolhapur, Pune and will leave for its destination at 6pm in the evening and reach next morning by 6am. The busses have 30 berths in 2×1 layouts and have features such as charging points, storage rack and reading lights.
Kadamba has converted its earlier seater busses to semi-sleepers to be used on the said route. The state transport corporation also has plans to add sleeper busses on Bangalore and Hyderabad route in the future.
