At a time when the pandemic is wide offspring in the country and overall vehicle sales have taken a hit, Kamat Force the dealer partners for Force Motors in Goa has commenced deliveries of its BS6 range of busses in Goa.
The first vehicle to be delivered in Goa was a 20 seater Force Traveler Smooth that was delivered to Ankush Manjrekar from Valpoi. The keys to the vehicle were handed over by Mr Prashant Kamat (M.D of Kamat Force).
The biggest change in the 2020 Traveler is at the heart where it comes powered by a Mercedes derived 2.6 litre CR 4 cylinder common rail BS6 diesel engine, it produces 115hp @ 2950rpm and 350Nm of torque at 1400-2200rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual as standard.
Other changes include a slightly stubbier nose e and the addition of an Ad-Blu tank to confirm to BS6 norms. Some salient features of the Traveler BS6 include Monochrome body, twin blower A/C with optional climate control, Robotic top coat painting, for gloss retention and optional luxury high back seats with armrest.
Kamat Force currently has its sole operating dealership and workshop centrally located at Verna Industrial Estate. The commercial vehicle dealership earlier existed at Cortalim which was shut down owing to the work on the new Zuari Bridge.
