Kawasaki India has introduced a sporty new black colour for its retro classic Z900RS motorcycle. The new black colour scheme will be sold alongside the Candy tone orange colour introduced in February 2018.
Mr Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motor said “Bringing Z900RS in India in February was a sort of achievement, because this model is produced in very limited numbers in Japan. Z900RS, a product mostly bought by a certain elite groups, has received lots of compliments for its premium quality and meticulous finishing. The positive response through various sources prompted us to bring a Z900RS in black. We do hope this new addition will be received well by our customers and followers.’’
The Z900RS looks and feels great to ride with timeless looks that blend the Z1-styling with great attention to detail. Some of the notes worthy features of the bike are LED headlight, Kawasaki Traction Control, multi function instrument cluster which is nestled between dual analogue speedometers and dials.
Powering the Z900RS is 900cc In-line four cylinder engine producing 111PS at 8,500rpm and 98.5 Kgm of torque at 6,500rpm. The engine is coupled to a 6 speed gearbox. Kawasaki has also tuned the exhaust note which has been designed performing sound research.
