Kawasaki launches locally assembled Ninja 300 in India


 Kawasaki India has launched the locally produced Ninja 300 in India which is   priced at Rs. 2,98,000 ( Ex showroom) The new Ninja 300 features new colours with graphics and antI-lock braking system (ABS). The motorcycle also gets aggressive styling with dual headlights that are inspired from the Ninja ZX-10R and wheel design borrowed from the Ninja ZX-14R.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said ‘’ As per Kawasaki’s product portfolio Ninja 300 is an entry le level sports bike. We have observed that customers start with Ninja 300 and then upgrade to the next class. Therefore, Ninja 300 happens to be our best selling product in India because of affordable price. We just started localizing the Ninja 300 ABS as part of our expansion plans. Initiatives like ‘’ Make in India’’ have also been encouraging factor in increasing localization. The localization gives us a benefit to set a very competitive price, because of which we can offer many new customers an opportunity to enjoy our product and also start experiencing fun of supersports riding.’’

Powering the Ninja 300 is a liquid cooled parrarel twin cylinder engine that makes 39PS at 11,000rpm and 27.0 Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox

The 2018 Ninja 300 is available in two colours options namely Lime Green Ebony and Candy Plasma Blue. Kawasaki is also offering 3 years of warranty and the bike can be booked at any of the dealerships across the country
