Kia Motors has launched the Carnival MPV priced at Rs 24.95 lakhs (ex showroom prices). The Carnival will be the second product from the Kia stable to go on sale after the Seltos.
The Carnival comes with large tiger nose grille with chrome surround, sleek LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, ice cube fog lamps, powered sliding rear doors, 18-inch sputtering chrome alloy wheels, roof rails, floating d-pillar, combination taillamps and chrome strip along with front and rear skid plates.
The Carnival’s interior is built to lend a premium experience to its customer with soft touch materials, premium black and beige dual tone dashboard and plenty of leather. Buyers can also choose between 7, 8 and 9-seater variants with the top end Limousine variant packing in VIP seats for the second row, the 7 and 8-seater packs in captain seats in the middle and a bench at the rear, while the 9-seater gets two rows of captain seats and a bench at the rear.

The 8.0 inch touchscreen infortainment system other than having Android Auto, Apple CarPlay also comes with UVO connect app. The app makes use of an integrated e-sim based technology and offers a host of connectivity options like start/stop, turning on the A/C, flashing the horn and lights and many more.
Powering the massive luxury MPV from Kia is a BS6 spec 4-cylinder diesel engine that churns 200hp and 400Nm of torque and comes mated to an 8-speed steptronic transmission.
Kia has also loaded the Carnival with safety tech such as 6-airbags, Electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, reverse parking camera with sensors and hill start assist control.
