KTM also showcased another surprise at the India Bike Week, the Duke 790 Adventure. The adventure motorcycle should be launched in the Indian market sometime next year.
Combining the single blend of agility expected from parrel twin motor with the devastating accuracy, the KTM Duke 790 Adventure can carve corners with pinpoint precision all nestled into one of the lightest chassis around. Differentiations that set the 790 Adventure apart from the standard Duke 790 include a windscreen upfront, knuckle guards, underbody protection among others
The bike comes with an 825mm and a ground clearance of 186mm. Suspension duties are taken care of by 43mm upside down shock with 140mm travel at front and pre-load adjustable WP shock absorber with 150mm travel at the rear.
Powering the adventure oriented bike is 799cc motor that produces 103hp and 87 Nm of torque. The liquid cooled motor however comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. Braking power is supplied through a 300mm four piston radial calliper at front and 240mm floating calliper single piston at the rear.
