Lexus launches new generation ES 300H at Rs 59.13 Lakhs

Thirty years of success in the midsize sedan segment that’s exactly the amount of success Lexus has tasted with the ES 300H sedan, which has just debuted in the Indian market albert in its seventh generation.

Long known for its unparalleled comfort, luxury and refinement, the Lexus ES 300H builds on a more emotional design that guarantees a second look. The face sports the hallmark Lexus grille along with sharp headlights with L-shaped daytime running lights and chrome wrapped distinct slashes on either side of the bumper. The side profile highlights the shiny 19-inch multipsoke alloy wheels and slopping roofline that tapers towards the rear. Speaking of which the rear gets an integrated boot-lid spoiler, large taillamps with L-shaped clusters in them and a chrome strip below the bumper.

Underpinned on an all new Global Architecture-K platform, the latest Lexus sedan features a dashboard that’s inclined towards the driver thus providing extra space for the front passenger, guaranteeing a relaxed journey. Rear passengers too can enjoy a comfortable ride with the 998.6mm extended legroom made possible due to the longer wheelbase.

Sitting at the top of the centre console is a 12.3 touchscreen infotainment system that gets inbuilt wireless charging and voice recognition technology. The 7.0 inch instrument panel takes inspiration from the larger LS and boasts of a digital speedometer, large analogue tachometer and a multi- information display. It additionally also receives an adjustable colour heads-up display which projects relevant vehicle information onto the windshield.

Being crafted for those who value not just a high performance drive but a safe and secure drive as well, Lexus is offering its latest ES 300H sedan with class leading 10 airbags, Hill start assist, vehicle stability control and Anti-theft system, with break-in and tilt sensors.

Under the hood, the Lexus ES 300H is powered by 2.5 litres, four cylinder petrol engine along with an improved hybrid motor that puts out a combined output of 215 bhp. The Euro 6 complaint engine is  coupled to an 8-speed gearbox and delivers an impressive economy figure of 22.37kmpl.

Lexus is offering the ES 300H with a range of exterior and interior colour options which includes four colour schemes Chateau, Black and Topaz brown and three different interior trims like Shimamoku wood trim that’s offered in brown, black and a lighter Bamboo trim. The mark of Takumi craftsmanship is evident in the new ES, in the soft padding of the instrument panel, where each stitch is embedded into materials for a 3-D effect.

Bookings for the ES 300H have begun at all Lexus dealerships across the country.
