Mahindra has begun accepting bookings for the XUV 300 ahead of its India launch next month. Dealerships in Goa are accepting pre bookings for a minimal amount of Rs 50,000.
Built on the SSanyong Tivoli platform, the XUV 3OO bears little resemblance to the Tivoli, while the basic shape remains unchanged. The face sports the angular headlamps and chrome ringed grille and bold led taillamps along with 17-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the XUV 300 receives a black and beige interior colour scheme with plenty of chrome highlights. The centre console holds a large touchscreen for the inforrtainment system. Dual zone climate control and a sunroof are amongst the lengthy features list to be offered upon launch.
Under the hood, the XUV 3OO will draw power from petrol and diesel engines, with transmission option being offered will include a 5-speed manual at the beginning; however an automatic could be on offer at a later stage.
No word yet on the pricing, but we expect competitive prices to be announced when the home-grown automobile manufacturer launches it in the first week of February.
