Mahindra has always chosen Goa to test its new vehicles, be it from the passenger car division or Commercial segment. However this time a 16 wheeler rigid truck has been spotted testing in Goa, we have received fresh pics from our reader Saurab Desai.

The 16 wheeler rigid truck is based on the Blazo platform and is loaded with stones in tis cargo deck for payload testing. It gets the same cabin design as well. A noteworthy mention though is the presence of tag and pusher axles in the truck which are meant for easing out the drive in tricky situations.

While most of the details are not under wraps at the moment, our sources have hinted at the truck being powered by a 230hp engine BS6 engine under the bonnet which should have sufficient enough power to tackle the toughest of terrains.

Earlier this month Mahindra was spotted testing the Furio MCV truck in Goa, although the Furio is already available in the market, the version we spotted had bigger tyres that should translate into better payload capacity. The truck was also spotted being testing alongside a Eicher truck for benchmarking purpose.

The Blazo 16 wheeler truck when launched will go head to head to the Tata Signa 4323 T, while the Furio will rival the Tata 1109 and Eicher 11.12.
