Mahindra launches shark inspired Marazzo in Goa

Following the national launch that happened yesterday, Muktar Automobiles the dealer partners for Mahindra in Goa have launched the Marazzo in Goa priced at Rs 9, 99 Lakhs ( ex showroom)

Manufactured at Mahindra’s Nasik facility, the Marazzo is based on a hybrid chassy that combines a ladder on frame and Monocoque. The Marazzo is available in four variants namely M2, M4, M6 and M8 and is powered by a single diesel manual configuration.

The Mahindra Marazzo gets a design that is unseen on any other Mahindra until now, the cab forward stilloute blends well with the styling. . The face gets a short bonnet with the toothed front chrome grille with twin chamber projector headlamps and fog lights with daytime running lamps. Moving on to the sides, there’s an interesting sculpture on the doors, along with a floating roof and bulging wheel arches. The rear gets angular taillamps and a thick chrome bar. The Marazzo rides on stylish 17-inch alloy wheels.

The cabin receives a brand new three spoke steering wheel along with dual tone black and off-white dashboard with a piano black panel running across the dashboard. The MPV is offered with 7 and 8 seater options and comes with an Industry first surround cool technology.

Features available on board the Marazzo include dual-pod like instrument cluster with Purple backlit, 17.7cm touchscreen infotainment system with USB, Aux-in, Android Auto and Bluetooth. It also gets power folding wing mirrors, steering mounted controls for audio, telephony and cruise control.

Under the hood is a 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder diesel engine that puts out 120bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only and there’s no automatic on offer. Mahindra claims the engine is quietest in its class with less noise and vibrations.

Speaking of the safety and the Marazzo comes with ISOFIX child seat mounts, dual airbags along with ABS with EBD standard on all variants, while higher trims get disc brakes on all 4 wheels, first in class Emergency call and Cornering lamps.

Mahindra is offering the Marazzo in 6 Shark inspired colours namely Iceberg white, Oceanic black, Aqua marine, Poseidon purple, Mariner maroon and Shimmering silver. The MPV will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Renault Lodgy and Honda BR-V.
