Muktar Automobiles, the dealers for Mahindra have launched the new TUV 300 facelift in Goa. The new iteration of the sub compact SUV comes with minor cosmetic tweaks and updated safety features.
The new TUV300 gets a new piano black grille upfront with smoked headlamps and daytime running lights. Lower down the bumper gets a honeycomb design for the air dam, black and chrome surround for the fog lamps and metallic grey skid plate. The side profile stays the same accept for the addition of new door side claddings. At the back it gets clear lens taillamps along with a new X-design for the spare wheel cover and a new roof spoiler. A fresh set of 10-inch dark grey alloy wheels wrapped in 215/75 section tyres finish up the sporty look of the 2019 TUV 300.
The cabin features new beige and black trim with silver finish for the centre console for a premium look, while the rest of the cabin is unchanged. However the new top of the line T10 (optional) trim gets lumbar support and leatherette seats on offer. The instrument cluster gets a twin pod design and comes with driver information system.
The 17.8cm touchscreen infortainment system is also new and comes loaded with features with bluetooth telephony 4.0, USB video player, GPS navigation, voice messaging system and four speakers along with two tweeters.
Powering the car is a mHawk100 engine that delivers 100bhp and 240 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Mahindra says it has optimized the ride height and added cushion suspension technology for a better driving experience.
Additionally the body shell has been made of high strength steel thus ensuring occupant safety. Also on offer from the safety side includes dual airbags, automatic door locking, ISOFIX child safety seat mounts, Anti lock braking, Electronic brake force distribution and Cornering brake control.
Buyers can choose from 5 variants, 6 standard and 2 dual tone colour options. The variants are T4+,T6+,T8,T10 and T10(optional), standard colours on the TUV 300 include bold black, glacier white, pearl white, majestic silver and two new colours namely highway red and mystic copper. On the flipside the dual tone colours include Red and black/ Silver and black.
