Maruti Suzuki launches new Alto800 Vxi+

Maruti Suzuki has launched a new top of the line Alto 800 Vxi+ priced at Rs 3, 80,209 lakhs (ex showroom prices). The 2020 Alto800 portfolio has now been enhanced with the fully loaded variant.

A big addition to the 2020 Alto 800 Vxi+ is the new 7.0-inch touchscreen infortainment system. The touchscreen system in question is the Smartplay Studio system that comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new age infortainment is connected and is loaded with features that enhance the customer’s driving experience. What’s interesting however that is other than the addition of the new touchscreen infortainment system, the rest of the car remains unchanged.

Powered by the same 796cc petrol motor but its BS6 compliant and produces the 35.3 KW of power and 69 Nm of torque. It also comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and delivers 22.06kmpl. In terms of the competition, the 2019 Alto rivals the automaker’s own S-Presso along with the Renault Kwid, Datsun Redigo and Hyundai Santro.
