Maruti Suzuki has launched an updated Celerio range that compromises of the standard Celerio and adventure touted CelerioX.
The new update comes in the form of new safety features thus abiding by the new safety regulations that came into effect this April. The new safety features include a high speed alert, driver airbag, driver and co-passenger seatbelt reminder, ABS and rear parking sensors all available as standard on both the cars.
Other than the addition of safety features, there are no other changes in both the Celerio and CelerioX. Powering the car is a K10 petrol motor that produces 67 bhp and 90 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and AGS automatic.
The standard Celerio returns 23.10 kmpl in petrol manual and petrol AMT, while the SCNG variant delivers 31.76km/kg. The more adventure based CelerioX however returns a fuel economy of 23.01kmpl.
