Maruti Suzuki has released a new teaser teasing the soon to be launched Waganor. The teaser image showcases the rear quarter side thus revealing some interesting design highlights of the car.
Pay closer attention to the teaser image and bits like the floating roofline created by a black portion near the d pillar, larger glasshouse area, wing mirror mounted indicators along with rear wiper and tall taillamps that become clearly visible. The new Waganor will also be more spacious on the inside and come better equipped as well.
Leaked images have directly shown how the dashboard will look. The instrument cluster is new and so are the A/C vents that come with thick chrome surround. Infotainment duties are taken care of by touchscreen infotainment system that’s most likely to get Android auto and Apple CarPlay as well.

Power for the car however will come from a brand new more powerful 1.2 litre petrol motor, an engine seen for the first time on the Waganor. The engine is also used on the Swift and Ignis. The 1.0 litre petrol on the other hand will continue to be offered alongside the new engine. Transmission options will be continued with the same 5-speed manual and AMT.
The new Waganor is set to be launched on the 23rd of this month and when it does launch expect it to kick up quite a storm with the Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago and other rivals in the segment.
