Mercedes Benz has launched the new BS6 compliant spec E-class priced at Rs 57.50 Lakhs (ex showroom). The new 2019 E class sedan range comes in four variants each, two in petrol and two in diesel.
The German automaker has also added a host of a number of feature additions and interior appointments. Some of the key feature highlights available on the Exclusive trim includes –
Windscreen cockpit now comes with a 12.3 inch screen with 3 display styles which include classic, progressive and sport.
Burmester surround sound system comes with a brilliant sounding 13 speaker’s with a total output of 590 watts. It also gets a sophisticated noise compensation that adjust music and sound dynamically to conditions so as to provide you with the best possible level of music enjoyment at all times.
Rear wireless charging provides a wireless dock for charging the QI supported smartphones without the use of cables.
Rear Touchscreen gives passengers the Convience to control climate, media and vehicle functionalities while seated at the rear.
Safety and assistance features on board the BS6 E-class include ESP Curve Dynamic assist, full led headlamp and adaptive brake lights. It also gets parking pilot with active parking assist parktronic and reversing camera and dual front airbags with front, side and curtain and a knee bag for the driver.
Powering the sedan is a brand new 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The petrol motor puts out 194bhp and 320 Nm of torque, while the diesel churns out 197bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Transmission options include 9-G Tronic transmission for both engines with an acceleration figure rated at 8.0 seconds for the petrol and 7.3 seconds in a run from standstill to triple digit speeds.
