Mercedes Benz launches new AMG C63 Coupe

Mercedes Benz has launched the new AMG C63 Coupe in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 1.33 crore (ex showroom prices). The new 2020 AMG C63 forms the range topping model in the C class line up in the Indian market.

The new AMG C63 Coupe mirrors most of the changes seen in the updated C-class launched in 2018, however the performance oriented AMG C63 Coupe gets more aggressive and sportier design.

 There’s a massive Panamericana grille upfront along with new angled headlights and a sporty styled bumper with large diffuser like insert. The AMG C63 Coupe also gets a sharply styled roof and a two door layout, while at the rear there’s an updated pair of LED taillamps along with new lip spoiler and a diffuser complete with quad exhaust. Also part of the package is 18-inch forged alloy wheels along with an AMG Performance Exhaust system.

The interior of the new AMG C63 Coupe sets itself apart with flat bottom AMG steering wheel, red and black upholstered bucket seats, carbon fibre touches for the dashboard. Also seen in the new C AMG is an all digital instrument cluster.  In terms of features it gets Multibeam LEDs with individually controllable LEDs,  wireless charging, climatised front seats, 2 zone thematic climate control, Burmester surround system, keyless start and go, 12.3 inch touchscreen infotainment system with  classic, sporty and progressive display styles and much more.

Under its hood lies a 4.0 litre V8 Bi-turbo motor which churns out 469bhp and a staggering 650Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a 9G tronic gearbox and hauls the car from 0-100kmph in 4 seconds with top speed limited to 250kmph. Also on offer is an  AMG ride control suspension.
