Mercedes Benz has released a new teaser image of its flagship S-class sedan on the internet, Images of the car had earlier leaked out giving a fair glimpse of its interior and exterior design in a gifty.
Set to be launched in this financial year 2020, The new Mercedes Benz S-class has been completely redesigned and is an all new car from the grounds up. it gets a fresh face with new sleek looking LED headlights and daytime running lights flanked by a large tripple slat chrome grille with added muscle on its outer edge thereby emphasizing the design. the bumper is new too and receives a new air dam with a thick wraparound like chrome surround. Also seen in the teaser image are new large alloy wheels.
Also previewed in an earlier leaked image is the rear of the S-class which showed the new taillights which are now edgier in design and have a thick chrome bar running from end to end along with a muscular rear bumper with twin exhuasts and slim reflectors.
Mercedes Benz has not revealed any interior images or details, however leaked images have already given a full look at the cabin. The new S-class interior follows the mimalistic layout with two large touchscreens, one for instrumentation and one for the infortainment. A new steering wheel with split control stalks on either side, four rectangular centre A/C vents and a push button start/stop button are also part of the new S-class interior.
We also had a chance to view the rear seat complete with an enteratainemnt package with twin screens mounted on the back of the front seats, a centre armrest for the rear seat along with touch display we assume is probably for temperature display of the aircon system for rear seat passenegers.
Engine options have not been revealed yet, however it would be safe to say expect the same already on sale BS6 spec 350D six cylinder diesel engine to be under the hood of the car upon launch. Though a clearer image on the options will come to note closer to launch.
