A Mysterious new hatchback has been spotted testing on Indian roads by Motoroctane. The new hatchback however has been rumored to be the new generation Celerio.
Seen in the spy shot, is a large upmarket hatchback with high ground clearance and large glasshouse or windows. Although the interior has not been revealed, a deep eye reveals a large tablet like touchscreen infotainment system placed high on the dashboard, which in case of this the car on test is the Celerio will be the SmartPlay Studio infotainment system.
Though not clearly visible we also see integrated headrests in the front which means adjustable ones have been given a miss. Other details include new clear lens tailalmps, a rear wiper, flat bonnet, wing mirror mounted turn indicators and Maruti Suzuki Swift inspired alloy wheels.
If the car turns out to be the next Celerio, the car is expected to move to the now well, known heartect platform. The platform is also shared with the Waganor, Swift, Baleno and Dzire. This also means the car could be safer and stronger than the one it will replace.

More details such as engine and gearbox options, will come to light once we get celerity on which car it really is, however if the rumors of it being the next Celerio turn out to be true it could get an upgraded version of the litre engine from the existing car.
