Honda has
finally introduced the BS6 spec Activa 125 scooter in the Goan market with a price tag of Rs 67,400 (ex showroom prices). Launched officially way back in September, the bike has taken its own sweet time to arrive in the Goan showrooms.
The 2019 Activa 125 BS6 gets a new LED headlamp and newly designed signature LED position lamps. It also gets premium chrome finish for the front and side apron that lends an upmarket look, while many first in segment features have been introduced as well.
Some of them are multi-function pass switch, side stand with engine cut off function and a 6 years warranty package with 3 years standard and 3 years optional service warranty combination. The bike rides on 90/90 tyres wrapped in 12-inch alloy wheel at the front and 90/100 section tyres wrapped in 10-inch alloy at the rear.
The new Activa 125 BS6 employs a 124cc engine that produces 8.2bhp and 10.3Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to an automatic transmission and also gets idle start/stop for enhanced fuel economy. It also gets telescopic unit up front and 3-step rear adjustable suspension.
Braking duties are handled by 190mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. However combi brake with equalizer technology is also present to help reduce the braking distance in a quicker manner. Buyers can choose between four exciting paint schemes – Midnight blue metallic, Pearl precious metallic, Rebel red metallic and heavy grey metallic.
