Japanese car maker Honda has started accepting bookings for the new second generation Amaze sedan ahead of the launch next month.
Booking amount for the new Amaze sedan is Rs 21,000 and is fully refundable.
The new second generation Amaze adopts a sharper design language which make it appear wider and larger than the outgoing car. The front face gets a flat bonnet with angular headlights while the slopping roof flows into the boot-lid giving a coupe like look.
On the interior front, redesigned dashboard will continue with the black and beige dual tone treatment. Space on the inside has improved considerably with lots more legroom and headroom thanks to Honda’s cleaver packaging techniques.
Power for the Honda’s sedan will continue from the current set of engines which will remain mechanically unchanged. The biggest news however will be the addition of a CVT automatic gearbox option with paddle shifters the 1.5 litre diesel engines.
Honda’s new Amaze is all set to launch next month, but the pricing will be the key factor in its success as the waters won’t be easy with tough competition from the likes of New Maruti Suzuki’s Dzire, Ford Aspire, Tata Tigor and Volkswagen Ameo sedans
