TVS has always had a huge fan following for the Apache series of motorcycles and the youngest of the lot the Apache Series the RTR160 4V has got a much-needed overhaul and the new bike was Introduced in Goa recently.
Design wise the RTR 160 4V looks the same as its elder sibling the Apache RTR 200 however it has its own design cues such as a new design for the alloys and body panel. Conventional handlebars and a one-piece seat also make their way into the new bike. Apart from this, TVS has added a digital instrument cluster, gear position indicator and a lap timer all of which are available only on the Fuel injected variant only.
Powering the motorcycle is 160cc, 4 valves, single cylinder producing 16.5 bhp at 8000rpm (for the Carburated variant) and 16.8 bhp at 8000rpm. Both variants come mated to a 5-speed gearbox only.
With the new Apache RTR 160 4V, TVS has another winner on its hands as the updated motorcycle has got more kit at an affordable price point which is sure to give the Bajaj Pulsar some tuff competition.
