Nissan has launched the new Micra range in the Indian market. The 2018 versions bring in updated safety kit and added features that carry on to the Micra Active as well.
Nissans new Micra now comes with new turn indicators mounted on the outside rear view mirrors and a 6.2 inch touchscreen equipped with mirror link. Both the Micra and the Micra Active get a driver seatbelt warning indicator, reverse parking sensors and camera and speed warning while dual front airbags are standard on the car.
Powering the Micra is three cylinder 1.2 litre petrol that produces 77hp and 104Nm of torque coupled to a CVT automatic gearbox and a 1.5 litre K9K diesel putting out 64hp and 160Nm of torque, mated to a five speed manual gearbox. The Micra Active still draws its power from the 1.2 litre three cylinder, petrol engine that makes 68hp and 104Nm of torque, paired to a five speed manual gearbox.
Prices for the 2018 Micra range between Rs 6.20 lakhs and Rs 7.90 Lakhs, while the Micra Active is priced between Rs 5.03 Lakhs to Rs 5.98 (all ex showroom prices).
